Job description:

Outreach Ambassadors support department initiatives to promote and represent ArtCenter's Photography and Imaging program. They help grow and engage the community by producing content—written, imagery, motion—for social media, email newsletters, and the website. Projects focus on connecting with prospective students and various stakeholders by answering questions and generating interest in the program.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist the Digital Content Specialist with engaging followers on social media

  • Support public programming needs, including organizing guest lectures

  • Ensure brand consistency and professionalism through tone, voice, and terminology

  • Create, prepare, and organize digital assets for posters, social media, the website, and email newsletters

Qualifications:

Team player, experience sharing deliverables on time, experience managing social media a plus, professional oral and written communication skills; Federal Work study optional, not required.

Pay rate: $17.00/hr

Work Day/Times: Mon - Fri, 3 hours/week, flexible schedule

Start and End Date: 5/15/2021 - 8/21/2021

ArtCenter Photography and Imaging department is looking for a Social Media / Digital Marketing Assistant to help with online community engagement. The major responsibilities include the following:

  • Help manage the Social Media Content Calendar for Instagram and other social platforms

  • Engage with community through comments, likes, etc.

  • Ensure brand consistency and professionalism through tone, voice, and terminology

  • Monitor paid promotions and campaigns

  • Prepare digital assets for email newsletters and social media

Compensation is $17/hr. Hours will be flexible, and you will be asked to work for 5-6 hours per week. The ideal candidate is active on social media, has experience submitting deliverables, and meeting deadlines. If you have experience managing other professional social media accounts, that is even better.

Love photography? Have a passion for working with kids and teens? Pablove Shutterbugs, the signature arts program of The Pablove Foundation, teaches children living with cancer to develop their creative voice through the art of photography. We are currently seeking Volunteer Mentors in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and Orange Counties with experience in photography. 

Volunteer Mentors play an integral role in working with children and teens living with cancer by providing lessons in photography that cover fundamental concepts and techniques. Learning photography concepts alongside other kids undergoing similar experiences empowers our students to express themselves, exercise their independence, and practice new ways of seeing – all while having fun! Lessons are provided to pediatric cancer patients ages 6-18 years old each week at their home and in a classroom setting. There is no cost for students to participate in this program.

Mentors are paired one-on-one with a student and will help them grow artistically by encouraging them to practice and develop their creative eye. Volunteer mentors will also receive extensive training about working with families affected by cancer and will follow a basic photography curriculum established by Pablove Shutterbugs.

The Senior Photography Manager, Culture is the lead for all aspects of still photography production for use across all Red Bull’s outlets. They are available to photograph shows, events, etc. as well as 360 degree photos for Red Bull Photography VR. They commission photographers from across the US, receive, check and distribute the content, as well as help to grow the Red Bull Photography name and product. The Senior Photography Manager is a vital part of kick-off meetings with show productions and will help find and commission photographers for any Culture projects. The individual will provide shoot briefs, amend metadata and explain the delivery process to receive and check the photos. The Senior Photography Manager’s responsibility with Red Bull Photography is to help grow the awareness of Red Bull Photography as a whole, particularly in the world of Culture.
