Spearheading all photography capture on set during productions of Netflix Original Series and Film, this role utilizes knowledge of TV/film productions, talent/filmmaker relations, and events. A successful candidate is someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty. They have a strong roster and deep relationships with unit, entertainment, and editorial photographers. They must have a strong project management background and are able to strategically plan and execute across multiple projects simultaneously. This candidate must be extremely well organized, creative, a succinct communicator, a team player and thrive in a fast-paced environment. They must be self-motivated, possess integrity and able to work autonomously across multiple teams. The ideal candidate will use sound judgement to make wise decisions, think strategically and drive their colleagues to do the same.

KTLA News Photographer is responsible for providing editing and visual coverage of news events in a fair, unbiased and accurate manner. Photographs news events, both live and on tape, for news programs. Edits material to match script prepared by reporter, producer or associate producer using on-location facilities or any other location required. Works with reporter to get complete stories and makes suggestions on how a story should be produced. Keep assigned equipment and/or vehicle in good working condition and files all required paperwork, as deadlines require. Be able to set-up remotes to allow transmission of pictures or live from-the-scene reports back to the station. Monitors scanners in vehicles from news stories. Must be proficient in technical areas such as Master Control and other forms of transmission areas.

Retoucher will be responsible for ensuring the high quality, high volume retouching for all brands. Photographs selections from the Getty Research Institute's rare book collections using digital equipment to support the GRI's book digitization efforts. Performs physical assessments prior to the photography of materials in a fragile or degenerating condition (experience handling rare books helpful). In this role you will work closely with the Director of Production to come up with a consistent look and feel for all video projects and implement that look to all in house videographers and freelancers.

To be highly considered for this role, you should be a storyteller at heart with experience shooting documentaries, a reel showing sports cinematography and camera operation in a live sports environment, post-production and editing proficiency, and able to execute scripted and unscripted content.
