Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, together with Photoville, announce a photo contest to celebrate Earth Day’s 50th Anniversary.
The contest invites professional, amateur, and student artists to submit their photography for the 2020 outdoor exhibition Earth in Focus: A Celebration of Our Dynamic Planet. There is no cost for entry.
Earth in Focus will open on Earth Day, April 22nd, to highlight the environmental movement’s 50th anniversary, as well as the strides made in preservation and sustainability.
Over twenty photographers will be selected to be part of this public exhibition at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts throughout the year. Photographs will be displayed in large-scale photo cubes throughout Bethel Woods campus. All selected photographers will be invited to attend the exhibit opening event with potential to receive a travel stipend. Additionally, six photographers will be selected as Juror’s Picks, and will receive an online feature.
