No Classes

Art Center will observe the Independence Day holiday on Friday, July 2. Both Hillside and South Campus will close at 11:00 p.m.
on Thursday, July 1 and re-open at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 3. Classes will take place as regularly scheduled on Saturday.
 
Both campuses will also be closed on Sunday, July 4. While the College is closed no one will be allowed on the
Hillside Campus due to high fire danger. Students and faculty in Graduate Art and Graduate Media Design will have regular
keycard access to South Campus.
 
Please note, while Monday, July 5 is recognized as the official federal holiday, Art Center classes and business operations will
take place as regularly scheduled.

Portfolio Drop off

If you are submitting for scholarship, all portfolios are due in the Photo Office before 2pm. Late submissions will not
be considered. You can pick up a copy of the submission speciicifications from the Photo Office.

Closed for Scholarship Review

All portfolios submitted for scholarship can be picked up from the Photo Office in the afternoon.

Retouching w/Dennis Dunbar

Dennis Dunbar will share some of his tips and tricks for doing high end retouching. In this seminar Dennis will
be discussing compositing techniques. He’ll begin by covering Workflow & File structure, then he’ll move on to
Masking and Color Correction as well as blending disparate images to make one seamless work of art.
